Commission Rules & Info

Terms of Service

Thank you so much for showing interest in my work!
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms of service.

(Which to put it loosely, you understand this is everything entailed when getting a commission. Arguing with the artist on any of these terms means you disagree.)

  1. Commissions are for personal use to the client only. I have the right to use pieces as portfolio work and advertising. Fees may apply if work is requested to be private or used commercially.

  2. When providing the brief and references, please include all details RELEVANT to your commission so they will not be missed or left out.

  3. While I can design characters from scratch, I will have to charge an additional cost for the time to conceptualize them. It is beneficial to you to have references!

  4. "Surprise me." Pleeease, don't do this. When you commission me please have an idea of what you want. I want to be able to deliver just that! Otherwise, I will have to calculate costs for the time conceptualizing the piece because I will be spending twice as much time on it. (I am a perfectionist. You have been warned.)

  5. With the exception of Rough/Doodle Sketches, you can provide a general prompt describing the pose, expression, theme, or personality. But it is not required. I typically spend a half-hour with roughs and an hour-and-a-half with doodles.

  6. The artwork at any stage of completion must not be minted, put onto a blockchain or NFT marketplace under ANY circumstances or by any means such as a bot or by your own actions or others on your behalf.

  7. **Instruments/weapons and complicated clothing/armor could be an additional charge or a decline depending on complexity!

  8. IF YOU ARE GETTING A COMMISSION WITH A TIME LIMIT PLEASE COMMISSION IT TWO WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME.

How I Work

  1. I promise to be in constant contact with you until your commission is finished! That being said, please be prompt when replying to me for your commission!

  2. If I have a lineup of commissions to work on, I will do easiest to most complex!

  3. Unless said otherwise, I typically have a week turnaround when I start your commission!

  4. I know I can work fairly fast, but please don't ask me to provide sketches to you on the same day you pay me! All I can promise is that I won't be making you wait months outside of a queue!

Stages of a Commission

I will update you every step of the way!

  1. Sketches (best for poses/pose changes)

  2. Line art (won't change poses, but will fix/adjust different things)

  3. Color (won't make changes to line art layer, best for color fixes in case I put down the wrong color)

  • Tell me if things need to be fixed during each of these stages! I will fix anything as long as it's at that step!

  • I offer 3 minor revisions per stage. I usually try to get it right on the first revision but sometimes miscommunication can happen or another thing was noticed right after the revision. It happens! After 3 revisions, I will start to charge a $10 fee per revision.

  • **Please refrain from asking me for major edits on new stages! I will charge an extra fee if I must go back to a stage I was previously given approval for!

Too much to pay upfront?

I accept 50% deposits for sketch work. This requires a second payment upon approval before moving onto the inks/colors of your commission.
**Does not apply to rough/doodle sketches.
